{SOUL} Some people talk about wearing “differen {SOUL} Some people talk about wearing “different hats” in their day to differentiate their various roles... I know it’s not literal.... but for me it’s about “different pants”. Lol. These are my “study pants” (even if they look like exercise pants. 😂). They’re super comfy and because I’ll be at the desk for most of today and they’re a step up from pjs. I can still duck out to the letterbox and with a quick change of shoes. Body confidence (or lack thereof as the case may be) means I wouldn’t hit the shops or school run in them - and they’re a little too loose to get loads of cleaning done in them (I’m constantly pulling them up. 😂) But for study and admin tasks they’re perfect! Do you have certain pants for certain tasks? Or maybe it’s outfits for certain days. I’m working on a mum-uniform for ease. Do you have one?
Peek-a-boo - Meet "The Distracted Homemaker" - she Peek-a-boo - Meet "The Distracted Homemaker" - she's me... but maybe she's you too? She wants to be clean and tidy - she wants to have it all together and be all the things to all the people.... which is probably why she's distracted..... She loves the idea of being "sorted" (hence "For the Love of Sorted"), but she tends to flit from one task to another and seemingly achieve nothing! She loves caring for her family and takes great pride in improving her parenting in the face of challenges. She values her community, extended family, and friends - and would GLADLY leave the dishes or laundry to pile up in favour of helping out a neighbour. She is working on developing systems, routines, and habits that mean she gets the necessities done in the home - but ultimately has GUILT FREE time to pursue the other areas of her life. She hasn't got it together by any stretch of the imagination - but she would rather have the house "mostly ok" and be there for her kids, family, and friends, show up for herself and her community and pursue personal development and grow as a human. There may be folks out there who achieve all of that and a better than "mostly ok" house... but that's not me or her... and our #sortedsisters who are a part of #teamsorted truly appreciate that. We measure our "success" in life by how we feel about ourselves and how others feel around us - not by a Pinterest board. So come along with me and The Distracted Homemaker as we embark on a series of videos that aim to encourage, inspire, motivate and make you smile. Maybe you recognise The Distracted Homemaker - maybe she's you?

They’re comfortable and functional - but it’s nice to dress up. This dress from @lovestylecoau was super comfortable - perfect for a relaxed warm Saturday at a local winery.
